TALK WORDY TO ME

Syntax. Portmanteau. Onomatopoeia. Ooooooh, yeah.

I love writing. I also love advertising. This one-two combo adds up to copy that yields a powerful punch. Whether brainstorming concepts for full-funnel campaigns or tweaking an email subject line to make the most of every character, I always keep the target audience in mind.

The tone I write in can be sarcastic or serious, witty or wise, depending on the brand voice. I am well-versed in AP Style, but I’m not afraid to break grammatical rules for effect.

Traveling and hiking keep my creative mojo flowing. I recently traversed 138 miles of terrain on 29 hikes in 20 weeks in five states. I’ve been known to stop in the middle of a trail to type writing ideas into my Notes app.

When I feel like putting my feet up instead of one in front of the other, you’ll find me in a hammock reading a good book. I gravitate toward realistic fiction that offers a glimpse into different cultures or places.

I call Utah home and love its four seasons — especially autumn. The Oregon Coast is my home away from home. The mossy trees and ocean breeze speak to my soul.

Oh, and I often finish the Daily Mini in under 30 seconds.
